Q: How do I find my photos?

A: Once your video is complete, you will receive an email with your video file. You can also view and share links to videos on YouTube with the following link…
Q: Do you take corporate headshots?
A: Yes…There are two options for Headshots… 1- Private Headshot Session: $75 per person. Includes 3 of your favorite edited images digitally. 2- Full Company Headshots Sessions (one session for ten employees or more): $35 per person. Includes one edited digital image of each employee.
Q: I purchased digital files. Where should I have them printed?
A: I recommend Mpix for printing. https://www.mpix.com/ They do a great job, and I often use their pro company for print orders.
Q: How long does it take to get my wedding photos back?
A: I am as excited to edit your photos as you are to see them! I typically edit within one week of the wedding, depending on my schedule. Please allow two weeks to receive your online gallery link.
Q: How long does it take to get my wedding video back?
A: Video editing can take quite a bit longer than photo edits! Please allow up to four weeks to receive your online link. We can arrange pickup or shipping if you have ordered a flash drive(s).
Q: I ordered prints. How long will it take to get them back?
A: I use several different labs depending on the order. Most labs take about a week to process the prints. Shipping may take a few more days. Weekends, Holiday seasons, and inclement weather may delay processing, shipping, and delivery times. (If you are in a time crunch, you may consider ordering digital images and having them printed at the local lab of your choice.)
Q: Will my prints be mailed to me?
A: If you ordered online, yes, your prints will be shipped to the address you entered on your order. Preschool orders are delivered to the school. If you order directly through me, we can arrange shipping or pickup.
Q: I can't get my Senior banner photo to crop. Will you crop it?
A: Senior banner images will be cropped to approximately the hips and above, depending on the pose, to keep all the banners as uniform as possible.
Q: When will my senior banner arrive?
A: Senior sports banners typically take 10-14 days to be designed, printed, and dried. The “processing time” can vary slightly during busy seasons. As soon as they are ready at the printer, banners will be picked up and delivered to the school so they can be displayed.
Q: Are you still publishing 4% Magazine?
A: Publishing was paused during COVID and is expected to start again in 2023.
Q: Why don’t you crop digital images?
A: Because I cannot know what size prints you may need, I do not crop any ordered digital images. This will ensure you have plenty of room to crop to any size you prefer without losing too much of the “subject.”
Q: Why didn’t I get my digital image order in an email immediately after I placed my order?
A: Digital images will be emailed to you in a separate email. Please allow time for me to review the image(s) before they are sent. If you do not receive an email within two business days, please check your spam and junk folders and email me at firstname.lastname@example.org, and I will resend your file link. Once your link is sent, you will have seven (7) days to download the images before the link expires. After the images are copied to your computer, you can share and print as many as you want.
Q: How long do you keep images and videos?
A: As long as technology will allow... I store all my files on hard drives, and more current files are also stored online. Online galleries expire after one year, and after that year, I cannot guarantee the availability of the images. I highly recommend that once you receive your files that you copy all of your images and/or video files to a backup source. I also recommend storing the backup in a separate, safe place.
Q: Do you really know Santa???

Q: Why are there watermarks on the photos in my album?
A: Photographs are copyrighted and are the property of the photographer. All my photos are watermarked in the online albums, but if you purchase a digital image or images, the images you download will not have the watermark.
Q: What’s your favorite thing to shoot?
A: Anything that’s in front of my lens. I love everything from children to sports and nature to events, but the people I meet and the relationships formed are my favorite part of my job.
Q: What background options do I have for a PhotoBooth?
A: In my experience, a simple, light background is best, so your guests and their props are the main focus! I have white, tan, ivory rosette, silver sequin, and light gold sequin backgrounds.
Q: Can I have custom text or logo on my PhotoBooth strips?
A: Yes! Email me your logo or the text you want on your PhotoBooth strips, and I will design a footer for you.
Q: How do I send my voice memo to you for my video?
A: Spoken words in a video for an ad, marketing, or training video are very powerful. Find a quiet place and record your voiceover using your phone’s voice memo app. This will allow you to start over if you need to, record in short segments, and for me to have audio without any background noise. Once you have your voice memo(s) recorded, please email them to me at firstname.lastname@example.org If you prefer, we can schedule a meeting to record your voiceover.
Q: How do we send our wedding vows to you for our video?
A: Whether you are writing your vows or your minister is providing traditional vows for your wedding, your vows are a special and important part of your ceremony. Before your wedding, find a quiet place and record your wedding vows using your phone’s voice memo app. This will allow you to practice them and for me to have audio without any background noise that will inevitably be present on your wedding day. Once you have your voice memos recorded, please email them to me at email@example.com If you prefer, we can schedule a meeting to record your vows prior to the wedding.
Q: What forms of payment do you take?
A: We gladly accept cash, check, debit, credit, PayPal (@darcyduncan1), and Venmo (@Darcy-Duncan-1). Please make checks payable to If It's Digital.
Q: Can I choose the music for my wedding video or commercial?
A: Only copyright-free or legally licensed music will be used in the video.
If you want a specific song that requires additional licensure, licensing fees will be added to the cost of the video package. The cost for mainstream music can range from $300-$600+ per song. If It’s Digital subscribes to websites with mostly instrumental songs and chooses songs that support and enhance a beautiful video. Most songs are instrumentals that play as background music with audio from the ceremony day, event, or the vows or voiceover files you email to me.
Q: Do you always work alone?
A: Mostly. I have a network of other freelance photographers I love working with when I need a helping hand.
Q: Do you do Mini Sessions?
A: As my schedule allows, I offer 15-minute portrait sessions with Santa, live bunnies, “illusion” sessions, magic reindeer sessions, sugar cookie angels, and other mini-sessions.
